Wow. It's great to be back to KL. A very short and tiring journey. I've no time to meet up my cousins and friends...
So much to talk about and honestly, i do not know where to start and what to blog.
Lets see.....hmm...
17th May 2008 (Saturday) : 4.30pm departed KL and reached Penang around 5.15pm. Went shopping with family at a nearby shopping complex. Had dinner at 8.00pm. Nothing much after that.
18th May 2008 (Sunday) : Started my day quite early. My biological clock woke me up at 6.30am, did some morning walks and then proceed to morning market for breakfast with my parent, brother and cousin. My cousin is a die-hard fan of Queensbay Mall so we accompanied him there. It's not so happening place compared to KL, although it's considered the largest and most happening Mall in Penang. Didn't get to go many places as my close friends are coming to my house at night. And yes-am talking about Cheryl and Mei Lee. As usual, we were supposed to meet at 8.00pm sharp but they reached my house 45 minutes after 8pm! Went to Ismail Ikan Bakar ( click on the Photo Albums link ) and had so much food. Couldn't digest and we were like, kinda 'drunk'. We ordered so much and couldn't finish. But you know-we wouldn't want to waste the food, so we have our Miss Cheryl to assist us. Good job Cheryl! Keep it up. Hehehe. Of course when the 3 of us get together, there's always a quota of at least 100,000 words coming out from our mouth-at least for each session. We went from place to place ( from food junction into the car and into my house ) and we got so much unfinished stories to share. Our 'meeting' was adjourned around 3am.
19th May 2008 (Monday) : My mom woke us up at 8.00am and daddy drove us to our the other house in Pulau Tikus. Went for Japanese food. Had Unagi, Tofu, Chicken Teriyaki and few pieces of sushi. Very nice Japanese restaurant. It's called "Xin", located near Feringghi Beach.
Without wasting much time, our next stop was Burmese & Siamese temples. After prayers i went back to my room for a nap while my parent ( extremely hyperactive on that day ) went shopping. Cheryl & Mei Lee arrived at my place at 6pm and then we walked to the Malaysian Buddhist Association for the procession. We joined my parent for supper after procession.
20th May 2008 (Tuesday) : Took the 8.15am flight back to KL. It was a roller-coaster ride. Exactly 33 minutes after departing from Penang International Airport, there was this air turbulence and i can tell you-this is the worse i've experienced. The first turbulence occured for at least 20 seconds and 5 minutes after that, it happened again for another 45 seconds. It was very horrible. The jet was very shaky. The airhostess keep reminding the passengers sitting at the emergency exit to shout 'evacuate' if there's problem with the jet. I was praying hard for safe landing. The pilot was announcing for all to have their seatbelts tightens as they could be having an unusual landing. I couldn't hear clearly the announcement. But thank God we landed safely. It was indeed a smooth landing. Bravo to the pilot and his crews.
Overall, it was a great trip and i had lots of Penang food...you may see the pics for more....

Vesak Day Procession
The Aura is a reflection of our True Nature at any given moment. Our True Nature is what is left when we recognize and discard all our habits, stereotypes, manners, and pretending, superficial behavior and become fully conscious, truly natural and spontaneous. Note that some people are so attached to their manners and habits that it is very hard, if not impossible, to discover who they really are. The only way to get an instant insight into their personality seems to be by watching their Aura, because the Aura shows their True Nature, behind any facade of superficial behavior.
