My Gift of Life
This is dedicated to my mom. And mom, if you are reading this, i just want you to know that i pen this from my heart.
To you I say That my love has grown
You are my queen, with the most beautiful thrown
To you there is a major debt I owe
I owe you my life, for which you created
I owe you my success, because of you i'm educated
I owe you my happiness, you taught me to appreciate
I owe you my heart, for you taught me to love
And when I am down it is the strength you gave that helps me through the day
When I cried it is you that wiped away my tears
When I'm startled or scared, it is you that I need near
You are the one who helps me overcome my fears
And still with everything you've done for me, we keep going strong
You are always my best friend , better yet my mother
