Last weekend also we witnessed the Sogo Members' Sale Preview where all the 'cheapskate' people queuing from as early as 7am outside the supermarket!
Curious what's so cheap, i myself got a leaflet from my colleague and while browsing thru, i came across an item i just bought 2 days ago. It's stated in the leaflet, "Today Only-RM7.50". What the h**k when i bought it for only RM7.30 and need not queue.
In other word, these morons actualy woke up early, sacrificing their sleep, plus the late-to-work deductions and ended up paying extra couple of cents! Isn't it a sign of stupidity? There's nothing cheap and good in this world. Cheap things never good and good things never cheap!
Two crazy days at Sogo has caused so much inconveniences to road users. Heavy vehicles, cars were stucked in heavy jams. Traffic polices made the situation worst. I myself was late to work on both days. Cars were bumper to bumper. Some travel from as far as PJ. For wat? Just to save on few ringgits? Come on... be wiser. This is not smart spending. I saw a couple bought a pack of toilet roll (RM8) which is i admit about RM1 cheaper than other malls, but they also bought a comforter set (RM49.90) when in Jusco is only selling about RM39.90. Overall, they couple still pay extra RM9. Now look who's smarter!
Some shoppers were even lured into signing up for membership. Btw, the supermarket denies entry if you do not produce membership card. Membership is RM24 for 2 donkey years. You get nothing for joining. Sorry-no mystery gifts. Look at the queue. Wanna faint! Morons are paying RM24 for entry? Morons are paying RM24 for once a year event? Morons are paying RM24 for a few cents or couple of dollars savings? Real morons!
